Good Intentions

So I had wonderful intentions to post about our peaceful Sabbath, but life got away from me today.  And with an irony not so much appreciated but at least grudgingly understood, life more than made up for yesterday's peace with today's craziness.

For every ounce of self-control and obedience displayed yesterday, the littles displayed at least equal (if not increased) amounts of the opposite behaviors today.  Even Hazel had it out for me.  Whining, shouting and flagrant disregard for parental requests, as well as a little wall scaling, were the hallmarks of this Monday.

And so dear readers, this is my tale and now I'm going to bed.

This mischievous look waits for me to turn my back so that the body attached to this face can climb on my chair and mess up my computer, or sneak outside and try to get on the trampoline or empty my pantry rice container onto the floor. . .well, you get the idea.  It's still cute though.

See those looks?  Truly terrifying - at least Niko's "I'm thinking of a million ways to torture you" smile.  I keep trying to explain that Iron Man and War Machine are good guys.  Not sinking in folks.

  1. Well, they sure are cute even if they were giving you a hard time on Monday! Love these pictures. I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing them. Keep it up.

  2. So fun to see you guys on Sunday. Can't wait until we get together again. Also, I am loving your renewed blogginess.
